 Robert J. Ailes, M.D.: Our Medical Director, Robert J. Ailes, M.D., is an expert in laser hair removal. He has been exclusively involved with Ideal Image since the first office opened in Tampa in 2001. He was the original laser operator for Ideal Image and has been involved in the training of many laser operators and other medical directors since then.
Dr. Ailes has been licensed in Florida since 1987. An Ohio native, he is a graduate of Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He has over 30 years of experience as a board-certified family physician, including time teaching medical students and residents. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery and the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons.

 Cynthia (Cindy) Burns-Smit, MS, ARNP-BC: Prior to joining the Ideal Image team, Cindy worked for several prestigious healthcare organizations such as Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL, Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, FL and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Champaign, IL to name a few. Cindy received her Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree from University of Tampa, in 2002. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a distinction held by relatively few nurses. |
