Robert J. Ailes, MD: Our Medical Director, Robert J. Ailes, M.D., is an expert in laser hair removal. He has been exclusively involved with Ideal Image since it opened in 2001 and continues to serve as a consultant to the national organization on medical and technical issues.
Dr. Ailes is a graduate of Oberlin College in Ohio and received his M.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He served four years on active duty with the Navy and Marines and has over 30 years of experience as a board-certified family physician, including a period of time teaching medical students and residents. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery and the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. Dr. Ailes and his wife, Patricia, have 5 children and 14 grandchildren.

Cynthia (Cindy) Burns-Smit, MS, ARNP-BC: Prior to joining the Ideal Image team, Cindy worked for several prestigious healthcare organizations such as Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL, Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, FL and Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Champaign, IL to name a few. Cindy received her Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) degree from University of Tampa, in 2002. She is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a distinction held by relatively few nurses.
Rachel Harper, MSN, ARNP-BC: Rachel is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Masters degree from USF and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003. She has more than 10 years of nursing and clinical experience. She began working with Ideal Image in February 2006. She is a proud mother of 4 beautiful children ages, 11, 9, 6, and 5. She spends most of her free time with her active family. She says "the most rewarding aspect of working at Ideal Image is getting to experience how people's lives are changed and their self image is enhanced." Our guests love Rachel and so will you!
