Dr. Dana L. Newswanger, D.O.: Dr. Newswanger was born in Lancaster, PA, but she completed her undergraduate training at the University of Delaware where she developed a love for Delaware and its beautiful beaches. She then completed an MS at Penn State University in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Newswanger maintained an interest and passion for exercise and fitness. She completed medical training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received an academic scholarship from the US Navy.

Dr. Newswanger's residency training was completed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida where she served as chief resident. She then continued her Navy career at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Newswanger was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. She is currently a Navy Reservist and considers her service to the country one of her greatest accomplishments. Dr. Newswanger is board certified by The American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Practice. In her free time, she enjoys fishing and spending time at the beach.

She then returned to the Fulton Paper Company Family Business where she had grown up watching and learning business and sales from her father. She remained there for 15 years until she became a mom, her most cherished and challenging role. She returned to the work force later as a Decorator, teaching and speaking throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Patricia firmly believes in giving back and after seeing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, she trained and studied to become a Mass Disaster Volunteer for The Red Cross. This was their highest level of trained volunteer and the first to be sent following major disasters. She is also the Delaware Valley Chapter Ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association, and started a program named The Unknown Soldier where she teachs children and adults how to sew and make gifts, such as Christmas stocking that they fill with gifts and send to our soldiers around the world. Finally Patricia enjoys water sports like skiing and wakeboarding. Like many, she is most at peace on the water. *

Lauren Beste Jones, MSN, ACNP-BC: Lauren is a native Delawarean who grew up in the North Wilmington area with her parents and brother. Lauren graduated from Archmere Academy in 1996 where she played volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse and was recently honored as a member of the Archmere Sports Hall of Fame. She then attended Virginia Tech and earned a B.S. in Nutrition in 2000. During her time at Virginia Tech she developed a love for health care while volunteering in the local hospitals and working as part of the campus Health Promotion Team.

Lauren furthered her studies at the University of Pennsylvania earning a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She remained at PENN working in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit while pursuing a Master's Degree as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2005, Lauren moved to San Diego, CA and worked as both a Trauma Nurse Practitioner at Scripps Mercy Hospital and an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner at the UCSD Medical Center. In 2008 Lauren moved back to her home town of Wilmington, DE and returned to PENN working as an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner where she still works per diem while working full-time with Ideal Image.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, beach trips to Avalon NJ, surfing, scuba diving, and hiking the local state parks with her husband and dog. Lauren is also an active volunteer with Faithful Friends and Forgotten Cats.

Erin Lay, PA-C: Erin was raised in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania where she completed her Physician Assistant training. She has spent the last two years working as Lead Provider and Preceptor for Ideal Image in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Erin enjoys the professionalism of Ideal Image as well as being able to impact our guests' lives in such a positive manner. Now having relocated back up North, she is excited to be a part of the wonderful Delaware Ideal Image team!

Kerstin Vakari, RN: Kerstin was born in Germany and came to Delaware with her family when she was two. She has lived in Newark her whole life. Kerstin graduated from Saint Mark's High School in 2005. She decided to pursue a career in nursing and went to Delaware Tech to earn her Associates Degree. Kerstin is currently at Wilmington University working on her Bachelors in Nursing. In her spare time Kerstin enjoys spending time with her mom, sister, and her dog Zoey along with her friends. She loves to travel, be outdoors in the sun, read, and shop. Kerstin is looking forward to what life brings her way and loves making a difference in others peoples' lives as a nurse.

Pat Yancy, NP, BC: Pat comes to Ideal Image with twenty plus years of nursing experience. She earned her MSN from Wilmington University in 1996. Her passion for integrative medicine has led her to pursue a doctorate focusing on holistic health. When she is not working or teaching, she enjoys crafting, walking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Doreen Ciaffi, RN, BSN: Doreen is a registered nurse licensed in both Delaware and Pennsylvania. She graduated with honors from Wilmington University. Doreen has had a diverse nursing career; she has worked in many specialty fields such as trauma, oncology, and surgery, in addition to being a nursing instructor. Doreen loves the beach. She splits her time between her homes in Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. She has a husband, three children, two dogs, and a chinchilla. Doreen loves her job at Ideal Image and calls it her "fun job".

Jennifer Moskowitz, RN: Jennifer grew up in Delaware and graduated from New Castle Baptist Academy in 1997 where she enjoyed playing sports such as basketball and field hockey. She studied accounting at Goldey Beacom College and later graduated from Wilmington University in 2006 with a degree in nursing. She began her professional nursing career at Wilmington Hospital on a medical-surgical and unit later transferred to Christiana Care in Newark, Delaware where she worked on a cardiac stepdown floor. Jennifer enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with family, friends, and her cockapoodle named Cody. She currently resides in Pike Creek, DE.

Raushanah Broadard, PA-C: Raushanah is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-professional Biology from Delaware State University and graduated with honors in 2004. Raushanah decided to take her passion for medicine and pursued a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University. She graduated from Arcadia University in 2006 and has been practicing medicine for the past five years. She current;y works full-time as a Women's Health Physician Assistant practicing in Wilmington, Delaware and also provides services part time at Ideal Image. Raushanah truly enjoys being able to make a difference in her patients lives.

She currently resides in Delaware with her husband and 3 year old son, who she enjoys spending time with. She also enjoys shopping and traveling.

Susan Kane: Susan was born in South Amboy, New Jersey and moved to Wilmington, Delaware when she was four years old. Susan considers herself a true Delawarean. She grew up in Arundel, a suburb of Wilmington with her parents. Susan is the youngest of three. She attended Thomas McKean High School where she was a member of their award winning band for all four years and was fortunate to be able to travel to different parts of the country as a result. Susan has always had a passion for fitness and nutrition. She enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle which ultimately led her to a career at LA Weight Loss. Helping people make lifestyle changes and seeing their progress and success is so rewarding to her. She currently lives in Bear, Delaware with her husband and two children, a son 17 and a daughter who is 9.

Jamie Grabill: Jamie was raised with her three sisters and one brother in the countryside of a small rural town in Virginia. She graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Finance and began her career in Richmond, Virginia as a sales and marketing manager. She currently resides in Delware with her husband who works in the medical field as a pediatrician. Jamie spends her free time cooking, traveling, seeing the latest musical act, and spending time with her nine nieces and nephews.

Jocelyn Van Bergen: Jocelyn was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware along with her two siblings. She is currently attending Delaware Technical & Community College, where she is finishing up her Associates Degree. She will be continuing her education, to recieve her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Jocelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, running with her dog, going to the beach in the summer, and trying new things. She is passionate about helping others and making a difference in peoples' lives. Jocelyn has struggled herself, with having dark coarse hair having to shave daily. After recently beginning laser hair removal Jocelyn is so excited by her results, and is already shaving less often as well as feeling less self conscious. She looks forward to helping others in achieving thier goals with laser hair removal at Ideal Image.

Melissa Kiss: Melissa was born and raised in Ohio, near Cleveland. Melissa completed her Medical Assistant Training at Delaware Skills Center in Wilmington, Delaware, where she received her certification in Administrative and Clinical Medical Assistant, as well as her Certifications in Phlebotomy and EKG. She is a single mother of three great kids, ages fifteen, twelve, and six. Melissa has been living in Delaware for the last four years and absolutely loves it here. She loves photography and painting and does both in her spare time. Melissa loves interacting with the guests in the Delaware Ideal Image Clinic.
