Laser Hair Removal on Face and Body for PCOS

What is PCOS?

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal condition, which can lead to excessive hair growth on the face, neck and other areas of the body.

How do we treat excessive hair growth in women?

Although Ideal Image can’t treat the underlying hormone issues that cause the hair growth, we can treat the hair growth itself and help you reduce excessive hair growth once and for all! Our lasers target and destroy hair follicles in areas so you don’t have to worry about shaving, waxing or plucking! What’s even better is that our laser hair removal will cover you for life in any area we’ve treated in the past or will treat in the future. That way, if you experience hair re-growth in a treated area, you can rest assured that we will take care of that too, for only a small co-pay! Learn more here about our laser hair removal treatments for the face.

Opt into our Lifetime Guarantee Program for Laser Hair Removal!

With our laser hair removal Lifetime Guarantee Program, we will touch up any hair regrowth that may happen in any treated area of your body, for life, and for just a small co-pay. Once you join the Lifetime Guarantee Program, this will cover not only the area we’re treating now, but also any area you had treated in the past, and any area you will purchase and have treated in the future. Think of our Lifetime Guarantee Program as insurance on your laser hair removal purchase. Learn more about the program here.

Alexandra’s Story – Confidence Changes Everything!

“Ideal Image gave me my life back! I walk taller, smile bigger, and feel utterly fearless. I have never felt more beautiful, confident, and downright sexy.”

Alex Bowie

Ideal Image truly changed my life forever…

I am very fair skinned with dark, coarse, curly hair. Growing up I was always abnormally hairy, even from a very young age. I remember as a young girl always being teased for having hair on my legs, arms, and upper lip. As I got to my teenage years the hair on my face and chest got increasingly worse. I began growing a full beard at around age 14. My mom would painstakingly tweeze every single hair on my beard the best she could, then came the ingrown hairs, redness, and skin irritation. By the time I turned 16 I was shaving my face and chest every single day.

And no matter how close I shaved or how frequently I did it, I always had a 5 o’clock shadow. It was mortifying. I was so embarrassed and ashamed. People always stared and made terrible comments under their breath. I did the best I could to hide it; I wore TONS of foundation, concealer, powers, you name it—I was wearing it to try and hide my hair growth. I spent countless nights crying myself to sleep.

Around age 18 I began seeing multiple doctors to see if there was anything they could do. I was told I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and one of the main side effects of PCOS is male pattern hair growth. I was devastated to find out this is something I would have to live with for the rest of my life (or so I thought). The doctors put me on countless birth controls, multiple oral medications, and several topical creams but nothing worked. My hair growth became increasingly worse. I considered waxing but didn’t have the courage to allow my beard and hair on my chest to grown out long enough to do so, I was too ashamed.

I spent the better part of my early 20s shaving my beard and chest every single day thinking this was just how my life was going to be. Driving to work one morning I heard an ad on the radio for Ideal Image. I remember thinking to myself “OH MY GOSH, I wonder if it will work for me?!” That same day I called to inquire and booked a consultation. Walking into the Ideal Image office bare faced and exposed I remember sitting, doing my consult virtually in tears (I never went anywhere without makeup) and the women that greeted me and went through my consult were so kind and understanding. I purchased packages for both my beard area and chest area.

I began my treatments and never looked back! After every treatment I received, there was less and less hair growth until it was completely gone! It has been 6 years since my initial treatments and I am completely hair free. Ideal image gave me my life back! I walk taller, smile bigger, and feel utterly fearless. I have never felt more beautiful, confident, and downright sexy and I owe that, in large part, to Ideal Image.

Thank you, Ideal Image, for changing my life.
