After completion of a crosstown ROTC program, she was the 1st female commissioned as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer from The Citadel Military College. Megan’s 8 years of experience ranges from taking care of young Marine Corps recruits at Parris Island to Labor & Delivery in Guam. Megan loves meeting new people and genuinely cares for everybody as if they were her own family. She feels it is important to see each person as the individual that they are and listen to their needs. She has settled in San Antonio with her loving husband, 3 beautiful children, and 2 crazy dogs and absolutely loves it here!
Susan M. Marbach, RN, BSN: Susan was born in Omaha, Nebraska and earned her RN, BSN from NE Methodist College of Nursing and The University of Nebraska at Omaha. Susan then moved to San Antonio, Texas where she has had a very busy career in nursing with experience in Emergency Medicine, Surgical Services, Cardiology, Injury Prevention, Litigation Review and other areas of medicine as well. She loves meeting new people and developing long-lasting supportive relationships with her clients, while meeting their needs at the same time. She loves spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach & being by the ocean, going to 'hot yoga', playing Rockband with her 2 boys and in her spare time is busy training with her husband and boys in Martial Arts as a Third Degree Black Belt, with goals toward Fourth Degree and Fifth Degree in the future.
Natalie R. Nyren, MSPAS, PA-C: Natalie grew up on the east coast, and is originally from Reston, Virginia. She went to George Mason University, where she received her B.S. in Biology with honors and shortly thereafter continued on to Shenandoah University, in Winchester, Virginia, for her masters in physician assistant studies. While studying in Winchester, Natalie had the opportunity to travel to rural Nicaragua and to Juarez, Mexico to provide medical aid to the locals there. Currently, Natalie works full-time at University Hospital downtown, and is a National Health Service Corp member. In addition to helping those in need, she also loves to travel and has so far visited four continents and over 19 countries and is constantly planning a new trip. Favorite quote: "We are only on this earth for a short while, so let’s enjoy!" Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Amanda Newell, RN: Amanda was born in Los Angeles to a medical family and moved to San Antonio when she was a young child. She attended Texas Military Institute and San Antonio College School of Nursing. She began her nursing career in pediatrics and newborn nursery. Her interests eventually led her to the ICU, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit and the Heart Catheterization Lab. When she is not spending time with her friends and family, Amanda enjoys reading, watching movies, shopping and working out. Although her favorite pastime at the moment is planning her upcoming wedding to her wonderful fiance.
Elaine M. Wall, RN, BSN: Elaine grew up in the Pocono Mountain region of NE Pennsylvania and obtained her nursing degree from Bloomsburg University. Her love of travel prompted her to work as a critical care traveling nurse, and she became licensed in 8 States. She also served as an American Red Cross volunteer, medical supply sales rep, and paramedical examiner while living in Japan and Italy with her military spouse. They have finally put down roots in San Antonio with their 2 teenage children and Golden Retriever puppy. Elaine welcomes new experiences and enjoys meeting and helping people.
