Here are some tricks to enjoy the tasty treats of the season without that feeling of guilt later on.

It’s much easier to overdo it in the snacking department if Halloween goodies are readily accessible at home and in the office. Keep the candy dish out of sight and your cravings will be less likely to creep up during that midday slump. Of course, don’t completely restrict yourself – treat yourself to one fun-size candy bar a day. Moderation is key.
- Pick Out Candy You Don’t Like

Spice up your favorite healthy snack with pumpkin flavoring. We love adding pumpkin pie spice to plain Greek yogurt for a midmorning snack. Another easy DIY is roasting almonds in pumpkin puree, maple syrup and cinnamon for a sweet and savory midday snack.
- BYO-Snack to Trick-Or-Treating
Satisfy your sweet tooth with a DIY mix that both you and your kids will love. One of our favorite combos this season is candy corn and unsalted peanuts. The sweet + salty combination is delicious. Cut the candy corn in half and portion off in mini snack baggies to avoid overeating. Grab these and go when you are jetting out the door for your littles’ Halloween festivities.
- Enjoy a No or Low-Calorie Beverage
When you get the urge for a snack, opt for a no or low-calorie beverage instead. Our go-to for a cooler-weather day is a replenishing afternoon green tea with just the right amount of caffeine to accomplish the rest of the day’s to-dos.
