Horrible customer service. I’ve been here 4 times and never experienced such. The front desk girl Alana was very rude when I called and was concerned about my contract. I asked her for her name twice because I wasn’t a fan of her tone. Her lack of empathy and understanding my issue was very condescending and dry. I had a great experience with my technician. But being in the service business and showing lack of empathy over the phone for a service that is EXTREMELY PAINFUL when told it wasn’t is very misinforming. I wouldn’t recommend this Ideal image location to anyone. When asked for a manager because I was sick of her attitude she said they don’t have a manager and began to over talk me. The reason for leaving this review because I’m not sure if their was a manager or not or if she really would relay the message.

Each visit has been an amazing experience. The staff are great and very kind. The environment is always clean and welcoming! Would recommend 100%.

Love the staff here. Always friendly and attentive. Scheduling is tough due to staff shortages, but they all do their best and make every visit pleasant.

Well I still have trouble driving there. Staff is great for the cool sculpting process. Very professional, courteous with good side manor for the sensitive areas.

I love ideal image they have saved me from my unwanted body hair, now for some reason im due for my last session, ive been calling & leaving voicemails & no one is returning my calls for the past 2 months so that i can scedule. I dont know whats going on

Disappointed. The staff is nice/ service oriented and the treatment worked extremely well. However, they sell you on the ability to take your "contract" with you, but make it extremely hard to do so. It took me numerous attempts to get my records transferred to a new office when I was moved for work. Also, your original contract expires, and then you have to pay for treatments even though you already paid for them. They also will not perform treatment if you are pregnant, but also don't pause the "contract" or credit you that time on your contract or money for unperformed treatments. It also takes unreasonably long to complete a contract period, with them demanding 2 months between appointments, and 2 months between instances of sun exposure. Disappointed that the execution is such a scam.

Amazing service and great ladies working! Always friendly and willing to put you first. The BEST Ideal Image in the area, put Philly and Towsen to shame. I would go here every day and live in the back if I could!

I think Ideal Image is worth every penny to remove unwanted hair! The facility is very clean and welcoming! I can't say enough good things about the staff! They are all knowledgeable and friendly! I recommend Ideal Image to all my family and friends.

Staff are great. My issue is with scheduling. It's April and for returning customers they are scheduling in July! But I'm sure new customers aren't waiting until July for an appointment. That's pathetic shows you how much you're valued after you've spent your hard earned money. That's not very ideal.

Just signed up recently but should have given thought to the fact that they are horrible with answering a phone. I also should have looked at the fact that the front desk rarely had an individual there. Now I can not schedule an appointment because they never answer the phone. I work in a retail location and not answering your phone is never good. Do better. Edit:Got a hold of a nice lady. She walked me through that it has been extremely busy and they are shirt staffed. The consultant who signed me up was extremely nice but should have gone over scheduling instead of moving me out the do quickly to make her next sale. Setting expectations for someone who is new and signing up should be a priority. Last edit: Natalie saved the day. I highly recommend this location. I haven't experienced another location, but I have to edit the fact that she contacted me to schedule a more recent appointment for my face. Awesome work.The technicians are so friendly as well.

Ideal Image in Newark DE, has made my experience so nice and relaxing. I have completed all of my treatments and for the past two years they have always been so welcoming when I come in. They are extremely flexible when something has come up I have been able to switch appts with no hassle or problems and the facility is always clean with relaxing music. All the staff at Ideal Image in Newark are very friendly, professional, and respectful. I performed multiples areas of hair removal and they kept me comfortable and without ease. I was extremely happy with the results and have told many of my friends to check them out. I plan to go back for touch ups if needed in the future!

I had to transfer to this location to finish up my laser hair removal sessions (I’m on a 7 month TDY here to DE from NJ) and the staff was SO friendly and helpful with guiding me on what I needed to do to get everything squared away! They were going to charge me $1100.00 for only getting my armpits done and this is just way too much! So I have been sending email out since June to request a refund. They put half of it on my credit card, I cancelled the contract before my first appointment. I still don’t have my money back as right now and nobody that I can talk to to resolve this. I am feeling like I got scam at this point. I just can’t believe it!!!

Prior to going to ideal image, i was going to another locaton. Let's just say i deal image is the best hands down.

I first had laser hair removal done in 2013 at Ideal Image (Newark, DE location). After 10 sessions, all hair in the area treated was gone. The treatments were performed by trained professionals and I was very satisfied with the results. Some years later, looking for a “cheaper” option, I purchased a Groupon pass from a spa. The results were certainly not the same and the level of professionalism displayed by the spa employees doing the treatments was by no means up to part to that of the employees at Ideal Image. Overall, I am very satisfied with the results from Ideal Image. I highly encourage folks to use Ideal Image versus spas that promote the same services. Based on my experience, the best quality and results are obtained at Ideal Image.

I spent the last almost 2 years going through laser hair removal at Ideal Image. The staff is professional and always very nice. They're great about sending multiple types of appointments reminders and in turn, super flexible with rescheduling (which I really appreciate since you do book like 2-3 months out at a time). While I personally didn't have the best results, I do still recommend Ideal Image for the most part. As it turns out, my skin was extremely sensitive to the laser and I actually ended up with burns a few times, but that's not something we could have known ahead of time obviously. So when it happened, the practitioners then adjusted strengths and were even more careful each time. *My only advice would be to be aware of the high pressure sales techniques they use to get you to sign up & start treatment immediately, because then you are locked in and the prices are crazy high. I was on the fence at first but I don't handle pressure well, so I do feel that I didn't have enough time to step back and do my own research, I was pressured into signing up and starting right away and I probably wouldn't have gone through with it if I had been able to do enough of my own research about my hair color, overall experience, etc.*

Should be renamed: LASER HAIR REMOVAL ON AN OVERPRICED PAYMENT PLAN. Pros: -GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Clean, modern looking equipment, complimentary snack bar, friendly staff. Cons: -PRICE: Consultant tried to sell me an overpriced service. I was given a quote for $ 9k from Ideal Image. Called my dermatologist who offers laser hair removal for the SAME AREAS and they gave me a quote of $ 3k. -PAYMENT OPTIONS: I was offered a loan based upon my credit score which would not cover the full amount of service. Then, I was offered a credit card with 18% interest since the 'loan' did not cover the entire cost. I was offered both of these payment options in order to pay an 8k service. I was also told that this LOAN and credit card would be 'A GREAT WAY TO BUILD CREDIT'. But that's not why I'm there. I was there to decrease my hair growth. The payment options seem FISHY, confusing, convoluted, and deceptive. YOU CAN EASILY BECOME FURTHER IN DEBT WITH THESE PAYMENT OPTIONS. You are not paying for a CAR OR A HOUSE. I offered to pay for these services outright, but was told THAT A PAYMENT PLAN WOULD BE BETTER. THIS INDICATED TO ME THAT SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT WITH THEIR BUSINESS MODEL. My direct questions were dodged and redirected. -CORPORATE VS. MEDICAL-BASED: The emphasis for Ideal Image seems to be on SELLING YOU a service rather than TREATING YOUR HAIR REMOVAL. CONCLUSION: Avoid Ideal Image and go to a dermatologist or spa for your laser hair removal that will not sell you 2-3 loans, credit cards, and complicated payment options. AVOID!!!

I started going to Ideal Image because of the good reviews. My consult was really easy, comfortable and informative. This was so important as I was so nervous and embarrassed. I’ve definitely noticed a difference since treatments. Getting ready takes less time and I don’t have to wear as much makeup.

I started my laser hair removal journey in 2012. I loved the results I got and now I’m going back for touch-up. The pros I’ve experienced are 1) no ingrown hair and 2) slight improvement to the tone in the bikini area. The only con was the price. I would recommend this service, just think of it as an investment in your self care routine.
