Very disappointed today with their miscommunication. The treatment I've had before the last was october or November of 2021 and they totally forgot about calling me and scheduling appointment and life happens and i didn't realize it's been 5 months already! So i finally called them and they didn't even know what i was talking about. I get it cuz it was my mistake too but they kept charging my account so i guess payments are more important😏. So they told me they will not be able to see me untill july i was very mad because I'm not getting what I'm paying for and they wanna push me 3 or 4 more months. So i told them i will need a sooner appointment I'm not trying to wait 1 year after my last treatment so anyways i went on april to get my treatment i had to wait an hour to be called to the back finally. I did half of the areas and asked to get the rest later because it was almost 9pm and they told me since it's a smaller area they should be able to get me in soon. we scheduled the appointment and i made it today at the door the receptionist was telling me that they weren't able to collect the payments from April and may and they cannot do the treatment unless they collect those 700+. I asked what was the reason the receptionist didn't have no answer i checked my account on those days just to see that i recieved my check 2 or 3 days before the payments are due. So what was going on i do not know. I asked her why haven't they let me know on April so i fix the problem or when i was calling to make appointments still no answer and i had to go back home without getting my treatment done. It was suck a waste of time. Honestly you do get results but they need to work more with their staff.

Great staff and techs, just a lil hard to book quick appointments. I would suggest calling early morning for cancelations

I’ve had a few laser hair removal treatments and I’ve already seen a difference. Ms. Ferguson is a huge help on getting everything figured out. She is a great help to understanding how everything works. I 100% recommend Ideal Image at San Antonio for anyones laser hair removal needs !!

Ideal image works but the only downside was on a treatment they did left me with a small scar. Before the scar it was a small bubble from the laser treatment. I bough it up to the staff and they were giving me a hard time about it and clamming “it’s not that big”. Yep that was their answer very disappointed.

Dont do cold sculpting.they are thieves($4000). they gave me a 2 session treatment. after the first one, I realized this was not going to work.i seen no results.so I called and said if I don't get 2nd treatment can I get my money( the half) back because it don't work on me.they said no. so I went and got 2 treatment. they said you will see results on 2nd one.i went and still no results. what a shame to make promises. and when they don't work you refused to give customer money back.and then they say we'll maybe we need 2 more treatments. smh. they are just trying to get people hard earn money.save your time and money don't go here.😡

Very upset 😡. This place is very clean. Most staff is nice.untill you say that the cold sculpting not working. It was total waste of $4000. They clam guarantee 💯 but thats a lie. After first treatment I realize this was not going to work I tried to only do the first treatment.they refused and said I would not get my money back for 2nd treatment. Pretty much I was forced. But hoping it work I went again. 2months later not result. Please don't waste your money. Just get a the surgery it cheaper and that is guarantee 💯.

I have to say I am extremely disappointed in their scheduling staff. They are eager and have time to get you signed up with a contract. When it comes to an appointment THEY cancel they absolutely do nothing about trying to accommodate you. They will tell you "oh we have nothing for a least a month out." Give me a break, laser treatment last maybe 15 minutes once back there.

The team and staff are amazing!!! They do their best to make you comfortable and get you out as soon as possible. Make sure to ask for Fancy to help you get a plan picked out and Amber to get it done with as little pain as possible.

Choosing this place was the best decision I made. Other med spas just did not hold up to this place. I have not shaved my legs in 4 years. Cannot recommend them enough!

When you walk in the door You are greeted by Professional smiling faces. Everyone today was so amazing and helpful. There is one employee by the name of Fancy that really went above and beyond and really made my experience spectacular.  Not only was everyone friendly and informative, but they made me feel like I was family. Not to mention they have an amazing promotion right now that I took advantage of. If you are looking for quality result...I suggest you come here. This review is about the customer service and professionalism of the staff at the Ideal Image in the Vineyard Shopping Center! They were extremely professional, and very service oriented. They are so friendly and immediately set you at ease. Fancy and Mel are the number one reason I went in for ONE service and chose to leave having gotten FOUR! No sales pitch, no pressure. They listen to your issues and genuinely want to help you feel more confident and better in your skin. After receiving an email and phone call to check on me and make sure everything was what I'd expected, I emailed back to make an appointment for more (ya know...more)! They called me back from my email within the hour! Such great service! The actual procedure stung a bit, but is bearable and over quickly. (In an aside, if you can do this, you can get a tattoo! If you have a tattoo...meh, same!) It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for! I certainly don't want some random with a lazer coming at my face OR my lulu! They have professional well trained staff of nurses and nurse practitioners to walk you through every step!

There are a few things that bugged me. One - I called for pricing and they said they couldn’t do it unless they saw me in person. Fine - I go in. I’m not even one foot in the door and I get a mask thrown at me. Ok I am welcomed by someone that takes me in an office. She sees me and sits me down. Their website says they have 75% off. She quoted me $10,000 BUT according to her I could get it all for $7,700. I told her that price was too high and she insisted I could pay it monthly for the next 24 months. $7,700 is $7,700 no matter how long it takes you to pay it. She also insisted that they had a nurse waiting for me for the first session. Definitely pushy. If they would have told me the price on the phone we could have both saved each other the lost hour and gas.

I first want to say the staff is very nice and I am seeing results, I am just very disappointed with their scheduling procedures. In July, I called to reschedule a late August appointment (because life happens). The only option they had was for me to reschedule in November. The last time I had received services was in May. Their laser treatments are priced on the higher end, but you do see results. It is frustrating paying this high price tag, but no reasonable effort on their end to see their current clients and they keep adding to their caseload. I suggested if I give them certain days, maybe I can be on a call list to contact for last minute cancellations. They said that was not possible. They told me my only option would be to keep calling. It would be so much easier if we had the option to check schedules online, so I could be on the lookout for cancellations. I have, of course, since then been calling frequently, still no openings. My main frustration, is prior to selecting them for services, they were very accommodating to get me into that first session. The had reached out to me to inform me of last minute cancellations, so I could be seen. I thought that was very thoughtful. However, now looking back, it felt like once I signed the contract for payments, the effort to give timely appointments is no longer there and their focus is on acquiring new clients versus being able to work with their current clients. I do plan on finishing my treatments, since I am still paying for them, but I probably will look into other places if I need to add areas. Again, I want to say the staff is great ! I just wish they were a bit more accommodating.

My appt with Lisa went smooth and on time. She was very informative and supportive. Margaret gave me a great tour of the facility and very knowledgeable.

I first used ideal image many years ago. I was so pleased with how quickly the treatments are administered, how clean the facility was and how friendly all the staff was. I’m back to have some touch ups done and I am so happy that the feeling is the same as it was years ago. The facility is clean and the staff very friendly. It is nice to know they are here and still so efficient and professional.

I feel completely ripped off by ideal image. I went in and they had a very manipulative salesperson that convinced me to buy a very expensive package. Granted, it's my fault for following through with purchasing it. However, she told me during the sale that my clinician would be consistent every visit, and that was farthest from the truth. I had a different provider every time, and they had different rules for what they wanted me to do prior to and during the visit. For example, Some told me that I'm supposed to shave before I come and some told me not to. Also some used different gels while others didn't use any. There was no consistency. I also had varying degrees of the area treated, because some would be more generous in treatment than others. Overall it was very inconsistent and way more expensive than worth. I did get results, but I got those same results with a small boutique company with a consistent provider for 1/4 of the cost. ideal image works, but it's overpriced and they don't live up to their promises I'm not convinced I really got quality Care due to all the inconsistencies. It didn't seem like they knew what they were doing

They are always so nice! I am in the process of laser hair removal and I can say I see 10% less everytime I go. The only thing that sucks is the shedding process. Your hair is so fried that it is kinda impassable to get a clean shave for 1 week till it sheds off but shaving does help. I love ideal image

For anyone skeptical about the treatments, don’t be! It works! I’ve had several areas done and the results are amazing. I love the time and hassle it saves me from shaving. Plus everyone is always so kind, professional, and courteous. It’s definitely worth the investment! You’re worth it! Just go for it! You won’t regret it!

I was so desperate to get laser hair removal on my chin because tweezing and shaving was causing my chin to become very dark. I am dark skinned and I wasnt sure this would even work on my dark complexion. I had a virtual consultation and a few days later I was getting treated. My experience has been great since the consultation! Most importantly my chin is not dark anymore and I have very minimal hair left! By the way I just had my 5th treatment only 4 more left and I will be completely hair free! They are very kind and they care about their clients. I love this place! I'll be getting more hair removal treatments in other areas soon.

I was pressured to run my credit!! It was mandatory that I run my credit!! I was also pressured to take it advantage of the deal for $4000 laser treatment that I did not want oh and if I didn’t it would go up to $6000. I only wanted one area done. I was told i have to be on a plan there is no other way!! I really wanted to get laser treatment but I didn’t want to pay $4000 just to get it done. The sales lady kept pressuring even to throwing curse words out there very unprofessional and aggressive even popped me with an envelope full of papers when I backed out of not signing the contract. I wasn’t gonna write a review until called around to other ideal images that abs found that they were way more reasonable prices and credit wasn’t mandatory!!! I’ll have to go all the way to another city just to get my treatments done. I gave it 2 stars I hope I have a better experience in another city.

I have been coming to Idea Image for 3 years. They are always friendly and accommodating. The laser treatment on my underarms was great. The treatment in my face is taking a little longer to get under control but it’s working... much better than shaving or plucking.

I've had SUCH good experiences at ideal image. As a trans woman, my facial hair was a HUGE source of dysphoria. I had a permanent shadow and it was miserable. The laser hair removal treatment I recieved at ideal image literally changed my life. I no longer need to cover my shadow with make-up anymore. Additionally, the staff was welcoming, accomodating and made me feel safe comfortable. Trust me. Ideal image is well worth the cost. I highly recommend them if you have any hair you'd like to remove.

Im giving this one Star since there's no option for 0 stars. Really bad customer service. Before I started treatment I made sure to ask if I would to move to another state my chart could be transferred to another location they confirmed yes! So I went ahead and started my treatment ( I have 6 sessions remaining and they'repaif off ). Now I recently moved to another state and been trying to gets this chart sent over for about a week now I spoke to Patricia and Nancy at this San Antonio location and nothing has been done on there end. The new location has called, sent emails and no response I have called several times and have been told it was sent but not true still waiting for them to send this over so I can make an appointment and get quoted really bad customer service.

Horrible front desk and rude . Just hang up on a client and when I was talking to her , I could feel she was annoyed to answer my questions. That’s sad because You are the first person the customers interact with . I’ve been a customer for years and about to make an appointment for my friend to come in to start her treatments but never mind .

I wanted to write a review to express my frustrations with the office's poor communication and customer service. I had an appointment scheduled for today (06/09/20) at 9:30am. I thought it was unusual that I didn't receive a confirmation call or text the day before so I attempted to call the office to confirm my appointment. I was not able to reach any one until about 9:15am. I would still be able to make the appointment if I could get it confirmed. On the phone I stated I would like to confirm my appointment and was told I didn't have one. I told the person on the other line, who identified herself as Patricia, that I was called a few months back and was rescheduled due to COVID. She was able to pull up my records and told me that my appointment was canceled due to my lack of verbal confirmation 24 hours beforehand. I was flustered. I let her know I was not contacted by the office. She replied that their records show an attempted phone call. I told her that I have no record of that call. No missed calls, no voice messages, no text messages, and no emails. I recommended that the office make sure, if a verbal confirmation is a requirement, to be more diligent in reaching out to clients as I have no record of an attempt in contact. I was told that required confirmation is "in the contract" and that I "should come be the manager". I was told that maybe I should have called in on my own to confirm the appointment. Which, ironically, I was doing all morning. She said she would make a note in my chart about this incident and that they would not be able to see me. I was rescheduled another month away. I am terribly insulted by the way I was spoken to -- especially the snide remarks and what I feel is blatant disregard for my time. I understand that times are uncertain...I am a healthcare professional. If I was told that I would need to be rescheduled due to capacity or new COVID-19 regulations, I would have completely understood. That, however, is not the case and there is no reason to treat clients this poorly.

Wish I had visited sooner. This place is more than welcoming and every employee I have been in contact with have been incredible. Better than expected results and gave me so much more confidence. I am so happy with my results! It’s not cheap but it is worth every penny!

I LOVE Ideal Image. I am currently getting my legs and bikini area treated, and it has changed my life. Shaving was painful for me, razor burn, bumps, and very time consuming. I was tired of having to make time for it, and even having to chose my outfits according to whether I was shaved or not. It was embarrassing not to be smooth shaved, and embarrassing to have shave bumps. Getting this treatment done has saved time in MANY ways, and helped me emotionally be able to be ME without insecurities about leg and bikini hair. I HIGHLY recommend Ideal Image to everyone, men and women. The staff is beyond caring, fun, gentle, and makes you feel like a part of their family. Laser hair removal is so worth it! To not need to shave everyday is the best thing ever!!!

I needed a laser treatment for the 12 hairs in my chin area. In the consultation Vanessa marked an entire upper lip, chin and under chin as the areas to be treated. She did NOT even look where the hair are. So full laser for regions where there is no hair. The best is yet to come: She came up $4500 as the cost but pretended to give me a discount for $3000. For 12 individual hairs. Shameless. I recently had a very small surgery which the entire procedure cost me and the insurance $6000 which I thought was exorbitant. What upsets me in San Antonio is people in places like these think that with their very limited background and knowledge they can fool you. Let me add I am a periodontist with a PhD. One other thing with the Ideal Image location at Vineyard smelled horrid. They said it is due to remodelling but this really was horrific and seemed like a more of a hygiene issue. They should have closed their doors during the renovation or until they figured out the source of the odor. It cannot be good for those who work there as well. I will continue to look for an honest business. this one was not it.

I should have done this sooner! I’ve been having my legs treated and now I don’t have to shave them! It saves me time in the morning so I can sleep in a few more minutes. The laser kind of feels like a rubber band snapping. You can feel it, but it’s not too painful. Completely worth it. The staff is so friendly too (I’ve had Dawn a few times and I love her!) , so it’s easy to chat through my appointments and they’re usually less than 20 minutes.
